Hi.

At Home Espresso: to invest or to not invest?

TO INVEST!

At home espresso machines can be tricky for two reasons. One, they tend to be pretty expensive. Two, there are about 5 million different styles that come with minor differences and bells and whistles you may or may not need. In our house, we need fast caffeine. We'll be walking out the door for a meeting or an event and realize we're dragging a little and go right for that espresso machine.

I've also taught myself how to re-create Starbucks lattes so there's now a second use for ours. Here's my advice: DON'T BUY ESPRESSO MACHINES UNTIL THEY GO ON SALE...because they will, and usually the discount is pretty insane.

I found a little machine that is great if you just want the espresso, minus the bells and whistles and it's currently at an unheard of price for an espresso machine. Happy sipping (at a discount), kids!
