Fake It Til You Make It: Makeup Edition
I've never worn a ton of makeup. Mostly because I never learned how. My mom doesn't really overkill on makeup and it was never a big part of our house growing up. Thanks to my punk rock days in high school (yes, that happened), I started wearing black eyeliner and then in college threw the basics on my face. I am basic betty when it comes to make up. My daily face is: under eye concealer, powder, eyeliner, mascara and blush. I've been reading for months about Milk Makeup.
It seems like every time I turn around they have a trending product. I hate spending money on makeup unless I know it's amazing. Most of my makeup purchases are the day after a professional has used something on me that I had to have.
A few months ago I bought the Milk Makeup Holographic stick which is essentially a highlighter or, if you're still in makeup 101 like me, it makes you shimmer and gives your cheeks a dewy look. You roll it right above the blush line on your cheeks and I swear it makes you look like you just walked out of a facial. You do NOT have to know what you're doing to own this product. Bonus: It'll make you LOOK like you definitely know. SOLD.
